Brief Project Description:
This project continued Stone Connection's close association with Astra Zeneca, Bullock Construction and Alderson Design and involved the supply & installation of a reception floor at AZ's ROB Building in Macclesfield. 20mm thick honed Pietra de Cardosa quartzite was selected for its colour characteristics and excellent durability. The Client, Architect and Contractor were taken to Italy by Stone Connection to see the supplier's production facilities first hand and to select the material required for the project. The end result is a stunning floor, amply illustrating the pleasing aesthetic and functional qualities of natural stone and its suitability for use in a heavily trafficked office environment.
