Brief Project Description:
HQ Chester is a prestigious development of offices, restaurants, a hotel and high quality residential apartments set in a spectacular location inside the historic city wall of Chester, overlooking the Racecourse, Castle and City Gate.
Stone Connection were engaged to supply and install 1,750 m² of 100mm ashlar facing, together with over 1,000 m² of 75mm thick ashlar cladding, forming the bulk of the external masonry and were responsible for providing working drawings and cutting schedules for the scheme, along with professional advice on stone procurement and production throughout the contract.
The project developed an excellent working relationship with Main Contractor Pochin Construction Ltd and designers AFL Architects, and this winning combination continues with the company's involvement in the construction of the new Frodsham Health Centre, due to commence in March 2011, where the same stone is specified.
