Brief Project Description:
When the architect called in Stone Connection to advise on how best to restore a
historic façade of the former BBC building in Leeds - a grade 2 listed - careful
consideration needed to be given to ensure sympathetic restoration of the very badly
damaged stonework, which involved careful selection of replacement stone and extensive
masonry skills to repair & rebuild the stonework, in accordance with the guidelines of
English Heritage. The end result is an impressive re-instated façade, which now returns
the building to its original state.
