Carillion plc appoints Stone Connection as Consultants for stone remedial work at Beverley Magistrates Courts. The work involves the preparation of a report and specification for replacement stonework, together with a full site survey and preparation of working drawings.

Stone Connection awarded £250k stone package
Stone Connection awarded £250k stone package for the supply and fix of Creeton Silverbed Limestone from Stancliffe Stone Co. Ltd to form rubbed external wall cladding to a Private Residential project in Penn, Buckinghamshire. Working on behalf of Main Contractor HS Dev & Co Ltd, Slough this project, designed by London based Architects McLean Quinlan, continues our involvement in private housing schemes where our skilled craftsmen come to the fore to prove once again how well natural stone, in different finishes, can complement contemporary building design.

Stone Connection completes a £250k project
Stone Connection completes a £240k design, supply and fix project at Glenilla Road in London for Main Contractor R. Durtnell & Sons Ltd. This Private Residential scheme, designed by Architects James Gorst, incorporates a high quality Portland stone façade, of contemporary design, grey Basalt wall cladding and paving and steps in Blue Pennant sandstone, all of which illustrate the versatility of natural stone. We also completed internal stone flooring and stairs in Mocca Crème Limestone.

Stone Connection, in association with North Yorkshire Company Chapel Kitchens, makes its debut appearance at the Harrogate Home Building and Renovating Show, exhibiting its range of granite, marble, limestone and quartz products available for the Domestic market - worksurfaces, bathroom vanities and limestone flooring were all on display and the show attracted thousands of interested visitors leading to many new customers requiring quality products and service.

Stone connection completes the design, supply and fix of Welsh Slate to form the 'Spanish Steps' water feature at the new Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre in Wrexham, North Wales. Working closely with Project Architect Alastair Paterson of London based practice Engle, Main Contractor Wilson Bowden Developments and The Fountain Company, Glossop, we helped to achieve a stunning stone feature area to complement this prestigious development.

Stone Connection wins contract to supply and install 20mm Baycliffe Cavendish Limestone flooring to Clitheroe Castle and Museum in Lancashire. This job continues the Company's long association with Main Contractor William Anelay Ltd of York with whom we have undertaken many high quality new build and stone restoration schemes throughout the UK, and with Burlington Slate, Cumbria, one of our regular stone suppliers.

Pochin Construction Ltd awards Stone Connection £ 960k contract to design, supply & install around 2,850m² of 75 & 100mm ashlar facing, in Locharbriggs red sandstone, to their HQ Chester Project, a £34 million flagship development comprising a hotel, offices, apartments and restaurant, occupying a prime City Centre site overlooking Chester Racecourse. This project further develops the Company's links with supplier Stancliffe Stone Company and the Project team at Pochins, one of the UK's leading names in Construction and Development.
