Workshop facilities:
Stone Connection's workshop is based at the Head Office site in Sherburn-in-Elmet near Leeds and concentrates its efforts on the production of granite, marble, slate, quartz, limestone and sandstone for a variety of contracts from bespoke worksurfaces and countertops for the Private and Commercial sectors, through to masonry work and flooring.
A team of highly skilled and experienced craftsmen, who take great pride in the quality of their work, ensure that the expectations of our Clients are met time and again. The workshop also supports the Construction are of the business providing essential backup to site operations throughout the UK, particularly if the odd replacement stone is required overnight, as is sometimes the case.
Machinery includes two Kolb circular saws, a Commandulli edge polisher, a Kolb Genius workstation and a state of the art Breton CNC machine. These machines are supplemented by banker areas where detailed hand finishing work can be undertaken.
In terms of materials, potential customers are always welcome to visit us to see our extensive stock of slabs, or alternatively we can make arrangements for them to visit the yards of our main suppliers. We always carry good stocks of the most popular granites e.g. Nero Assoluto; Angola Black; Bon Accord; Giallo Veneziano; Blue Pearl; Star Galaxy; Baltic Brown etc. but can source virtually whatever is required by the Client. We are also an approved stockist and fabricator of Silestone and Caesar stone quartz worksurfaces which are becoming increasing popular.
