Cladding:
Natural stone cladding has been extensively used in many applications;
- Traditional handset Cladding to BS 8298
- Internal Cladding / Lining to BS 8298
- Rainscreen Cladding - utilising undercut anchor technology and other proprietary systems
When specified as hand-set cladding the stone is fixed / restrained to a suitably constructed, solid backing structure e.g. 7 N/mm² blockwork or a Metsec type framework, using stainless steel cramps and dowels with proprietary stainless steel brackets and angles to provide the required load bearing support.
